    Description

    Amazing, rare crewel work of iconic MCM flowers that really pop. Signed piece of embroidery, crewel and felt in a pattern reminiscent of the best graphic design of the era. Stretched on an Anco Bilt inner frame which is set into the outer frame and secured with screws as seen in photos; two sawtooth hangers at top. Colors are still vibrant: hot pink, medium (60s/70s) orange, medium/dark grey, etc. The texture of the two larger flowers is wonderful and protrude from the artwork. A few loose strands and a few minor scratches to the frame but that's it. In amazing shape for its age. Measures a whopping 33.75" x 23.5".
