OEM WATER HEATER GAS BURNER ASSEMBLY from 40 Gallon Ruud model # RPL40.  Condition is Used.
Used.  Tested.   Works
This gas valve assembly was recovered from a fully functional 40 gallon Ruud water heater model # RPL40  that was decommissioned for upgrading.
Measurements:
- extension of arm horizontally: 12" (approx) - see picture 2.
- Extension of arm vertically: 7" (approx) - see picture 5.
- Extension of arm from from 90° bend to gas exit oriface: 10 1/2" (approx) - see picture 3.
- Diameter of upper burner plate: 5 1/2" - see picture 4.
- outer thread diameter of main gas pipe fitting:  11/16" to 3/4" (tapered thread)
- Outer diameter of threads on brass pilot compression fitting: 13/32"
Please excuse all minor dust and dirt from prior use.   In order to offer you the most competitive price possible, no effort has been made to clean this part whatsoever.
Other water heater models I have recovered this burner assembly from:
- Ruud RPL40 (40 gallon)
- Richmond 5V40-7 (40 gallon)
- Ruud P40-38 (40 gallon)
This same exact burner assembly was used on many other 40 gallon water heater models but it requires very close checking and comparison of all measurements illustarted in the pictures in comparison to the burner plate you are replacing before a match can be determined.
IMPORTANT:  If you have a Ruud 30 gallon or Ruud 50 gallon water heater from the same era as the one this butner assembly came from, its likely that your burner assembly looks similar to the one in this listing, however, the length of the rise and run of the gas tubes on those water heaters are likely different from the one shown in the listing.  I have some Ruud 30 and 50 gallon water heater burner assemblies available if you need one, just ask me.  Thanks!
