Description

Noritz NRCP series heaters offer the latest cutting edge technology in tankless water heaters. The latest NRCP models feature a crossover valve functionality, which allows for an external recirculation without the use of a return line. It also features an internal pump that can be used in two different modes. External mode, combined with a return line, can keep the water in the pipes warm resulting in lower wait times for hot water. Internal mode, which does not require a return line, will keep the water within the unit warm to reduce the traditional delay between water demand and the startup sequence. This unit is equipped with a heavy duty 304-stainless steel heat exchanger for superior thermal transfer as well as excellent resistance to scale formation. NRCPs can be vented using 2-schedule-40 PVC pipe and operate with as little as 3.5 in. water column on the incoming gas line.
Includes built in recirculation pump to provide preheated water with a dedicated return line or conversion to on-demand recirculation with IHK-NRCP kit
Compatible with crossover valve (#cCS-V) kit for external recirculation without the use of a return line, this item is sold separately
Includes remote thermostat that can precisely adjust the output temperature from 100° Fahrenheit to 140° Fahrenheit with the capability to display temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit
The NRCP98 is for indoor installations and can be converted to an outdoor unit with the purchase of VCK-NRCP-1 kit
This heater is convertible to single vent with the purchase of the SV-CK-3 kit
Warranty is not reduced at all with the use of a recirculation pump, 12-years on the heat exchanger and 5-years on all other parts
Water and gas leak detection is integrated in the programming of the unit to prevent damage to the unit if it senses either a gas or water leak
Programmable recirculation timer or auto learn, allows the customer to pick when the recirculation system should run or the unit will learn the customer's habits and automatically run the pump for the customer
Unit has a durable stainless steel heat exchanger
2-filters to be checked for debris after the installation is complete, 1 is on the inlet water line and 1 is on the recirculation return line
