    Description

    Jades from China.
By Angus Forsyth & Brian McElney.
Published in Bath by The Museum of East Asian Art in 1994.
"Three hundred and fifty four exquisite jade pieces are presented here in stunning color photographs. Included are an elegant curved and drilled blade of green marbled jade, some 4,000 years old; a delicately carved Han dynasty dragon, pale green-white in an openwork disk just over an inch in diameter, perhaps made around the time of Christ; and a graceful leaf-shaped tray carved so thin it is almost transparent, yet with an integral ring link that shows both were cut together from the same large piece. With a text in English and Chinese, this exhibit catalog from the Museum of East Asian Art in Bath, England, catalogs pieces spanning approximately seven millennia, from Neolithic times up to the early 19th century".
Hardcover. 9"x11.5", 423 pages, hundreds of color illustrations, dust jacket. Fine, clean condition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS BUYERS, PLEASE NOTE:
SHIPPING: To comply with Ebay’s policies, all packages are shipped using recorded/trackable methods and you should check the postage quotes before completing a purchase. Our International shipping charges are based on the weight, when packed, of each package -we offer “combined shipping charges” for orders for more than one item –this often means the shipping cost for the items is less than it would have been if they had been purchased and shipped one at a time, so please ask us for a shipping quote if you are thinking about buying more than one item. Thanks!
CUSTOMS CHARGES: Your post office may impose a customs charge on your incoming package, we have no control over this and no information about it, please check with your post office for more information. It is against U.S. law and Ebay rules for us to lie on the customs form about the value of packages, please do not ask us to do this.
